FAQ
Text.Tweetkar.com is a handy online platform designed to make sharing and storing text easier for everyone, especially programmers. Whether you’re a developer looking to share snippets of code, a student collaborating on a project, or just someone who needs to store and share large chunks of text, Text.Tweetkar.com has got you covered. The site is simple, user-friendly, and built with convenience in mind. Let’s dive into some of the most frequently asked questions to help you get the most out of this platform.
What is Text.Tweetkar.com all about?
Text.Tweetkar.com is essentially a digital clipboard for the internet. It allows you to store any kind of text online and share it with others effortlessly. While it’s particularly popular among programmers for sharing source code or configuration details, it’s open to anyone who needs to share text. Imagine you’re working on a group project, and you need to share a long piece of text with your team. Instead of sending it via email or messaging apps, you can simply paste it on Text.Tweetkar.com and share the link. It’s that simple!
What is your Acceptable Use Policy?
Text.Tweetkar.com is all about making life easier, but there are some rules to ensure the platform remains safe and useful for everyone. The site was created primarily to help programmers, but anyone can use it to share text. However, there are certain things you should never post, such as email lists, password lists, personal information, stolen data, or anything illegal or harmful. If you come across any content that violates these rules, you can use the “report abuse” feature to flag it, and our team will take action. We also ask that you avoid aggressively scraping the site. If you need to scrape data, please use our scraping API to avoid overloading our servers.
Here’s a quick list of what NOT to post:
- Email lists
- Login details
- Stolen source code
- Hacked data
- Copyrighted information
- Password lists
- Financial information (e.g., credit card details)
- Personal information
- Pornographic content
- Spam links (including self-promotion)
If you don’t follow these guidelines, we may ban your account or IP address. For more details, check out our Terms of Service.

What is MY Text.Tweetkar?
When you create an account on Text.Tweetkar.com, you get your own personal Tweetkar. This is your space to store and manage all your pastes. You can organize them, edit them, and share them with others as needed. Your Tweetkar is both public and private at the same time. Public pastes are visible to everyone, while private pastes are only visible to you. This makes it a versatile tool for both collaboration and personal use.
How do folders work?
Folders are a great way to keep your pastes organized. When you create a new paste, you can choose which folder to place it in. If you don’t have a folder yet, you can create one by clicking the “+” symbol. Once a folder is created, you can move pastes in and out of it as needed. For example, if you’re working on multiple projects, you can create a folder for each project and store related pastes there. This keeps everything neat and easy to find.
It’s important to note that folders are primarily for your own organization. While public pastes in a folder will appear in the root folder for others, the folder structure itself is only visible to you when you’re logged in.
How many pastes can I create?
The number of pastes you can create depends on your account type. Guests can create up to 10 new pastes every 24 hours, free members can create up to 20, and PRO members can create up to 250. There are also limits on the types of pastes you can create. For example, guests can’t create private pastes, while free members can create up to 10 private pastes. PRO members, on the other hand, have no limits on the number of private or unlisted pastes they can create.
If you see someone posting more than these limits, it’s likely because they have special permissions. If you need to post more than 250 pastes per day, feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll see what we can do.
How does your Spam Filter work?
To keep the platform clean and spam-free, Text.Tweetkar.com uses an automated spam protection system. If the system detects suspicious activity, it may ask you to complete a captcha before your paste is published. You’ll have 10 minutes to complete the captcha; otherwise, your paste will be automatically removed.
What triggers the spam filter? Things like creating too many pastes in a short time, including links in your pastes, posting duplicate content, or using suspicious keywords. The good news is that PRO members have more lenient spam detection levels, so they’re less likely to encounter these restrictions.
Is there an API?
Yes, we offer an API for developers who want to integrate Text.Tweetkar.com into their applications. Whether you’re building a tool for your team or just want to automate some tasks, our API makes it easy to interact with the platform programmatically.
Who can see my pastes?
The visibility of your pastes depends on the settings you choose. Public pastes are visible to everyone and will appear in the public menu and archive pages. Unlisted pastes are invisible to others unless you share the link. Private pastes, available only to members, are password-protected and can only be viewed by you when you’re logged in. Search engines only index public pastes, so your private and unlisted pastes remain hidden from search results.
How can I get content removed?
If you need to remove a paste, you can do so if you created it while logged in. Unfortunately, if you posted something as a guest, there’s no quick delete option. However, you can use the “report abuse” button to flag the content, and our team will review it. We aim to handle all removal requests within 24 hours. For DMCA-related requests, please visit our dedicated page.
How does your hits counter work?
The hits counter on each paste shows the number of unique visitors. We filter out bot traffic and only count one visit per user within a certain time frame. This ensures that the counter reflects genuine interest in your paste.
What is the maximum paste size?
The maximum size for a paste is 512 kilobytes (0.5 megabytes) for free users. This is more than enough for most scripts and text files. PRO members, however, can create pastes up to 10 megabytes in size.
For which languages do you offer syntax highlighting?
We support syntax highlighting for a wide range of programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, PHP, and SQL. This feature makes it easier to read and share code snippets. If you don’t see your preferred language on the list, let us know, and we’ll consider adding it.
Can I advertise my product/brand on Text.Tweetkar.com?
Absolutely! If you’re interested in advertising, feel free to contact us directly. We’d be happy to discuss opportunities to promote your product or brand on our platform.
Can I change my username?
Yes, but this feature is only available for PRO users. If the username you want is already taken, we can still help if the current owner has been inactive for over six months and has no pastes in their account. Check the username changer page to see what’s available.
How do I downgrade my PRO account?
If you decide to downgrade your PRO account, simply go to the billing page in your profile and follow the instructions. It’s quick and easy.
I got blocked! Can I scrape your website?
Yes, but we limit the number of requests to prevent overloading our servers. If you’re scraping intensely, you might get blocked occasionally. To avoid this, consider using our custom scraper API, which allows us to whitelist your IP. This feature is available only for PRO users.
Do my pastes stay online forever?
It’s up to you! You can set an expiration date for your pastes, and they’ll be automatically removed after that time. As a member, you can also delete your pastes manually at any time. Currently, we don’t delete pastes without expiration dates, but we may introduce automatic removal for inactive pastes in the future. PRO users, however, will never have their pastes removed due to inactivity.
Can I post links & images?
Yes, but only PRO users can post clickable links and images. This restriction helps prevent abuse of the feature. With Markdown, PRO users can also format text, include tables, and more.
How do I delete my account?
Deleting your account is simple. Just visit the account deletion page, log in if necessary, and follow the instructions. Once your account is deleted, all your pastes will be removed as well.
Text.Tweetkar.com is here to make your life easier, whether you’re a programmer, student, or just someone who needs to share text online. If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Happy pasting!
